This particular scam is disguised as an email from Clare Lester, CEO of Camelot Group, promising compensation for being a victim of fraud. The email includes an attached PDF with a fake letter asking for personal details, including full name, address, and occupation, to facilitate payment. The scammers may also demand fees for “processing” the funds, leading victims to unknowingly lose money.
